Role Description

The practitioner will be working on projects involving multidisciplinary resources and skills such as software development, DevOps engineering, automation. After a training integration period, the practitioner will be able to acquire key emerging technical skills for a new kind of IT professional, empowering its organization and customers’ organizations to embrace Innovation in the NetDevOps space exploiting the potential of applications, automation, infrastructure for the network, CyberSecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), DevOps, and Cisco Collaboration/Webex. Network APIs open new approaches for how compute, cloud, the network, and applications work together. Coding is mostly in python, and we work with technologies like container networking, edge compute, automation, and orchestration to find new ways to build and manage secure, efficient and scalable infrastructure.

Certification requirements

DevNet Professional certification or higher – to be acquired within 6 months.

Job experience requirements

Developer who has at least one to three years of experience of team working in designing and implementing applications. The skills have to cover designing and developing resilient, robust and secure applications using Cisco and other Vendors APIs and platforms, and managing and deploying applications on Cisco and other Vendors infrastructure.

Industry experience

ICT or ICT Division within any industry.

Technology/Software knowledge

SW dev, Mobile App dev, Cybersecurity, IoT.

Education requirements & know-how

Bachelor in IT courses or Oracle, AWS, Microsoft, DevNet equivalent certification on programming or systems.

List of useful knowledges:

• Java or Python programming;
• Front-end and Back-end web developement: HTML5, Javascript (React, Vue, Angular, …), node.js;
• Relational Database and/or noSQL databases;
• Web-Service development and interfacing (node.js, Python Flask, …);
• Mobile developement (iOS, Android, Xamarin, Ionic, Cordova …);
• ML libraries (TSF, Kaffe, Keras, …);
• Embedded systems developement (Arduino, STMCube, …);
